This is a glossary of terms commonly heard when talking about para dancing and eurobeat.
- A-Melo (Aメロ)
- The first lyrical part of a Eurobeat song, the second part of the typical Intro → A-Melo → B-Melo → Sabi → Intro progression.
- B-Melo (Bメロ)
- The second lyrical part of a Eurobeat song, the third part of the typical Intro → A-Melo → B-Melo → Sabi → Intro progression.
- circle
- A group of people who do para together.
- furi (振り)
- A choreography. Short for "furitsuke" (振付 or 振り付け).
- intro (イントロ)
- The part of a Eurobeat song in which the synths are playing, the first and last part of the typical Intro → A-Melo → B-Melo → Sabi → Intro progression.
- koushuukai (講習会)
- A para lesson taught at a club event.
- manepara (真似パラ)
- "Faking it" when you don't actually know the routine to a song.
- maniac
- An original (unofficial) para routine, usually created by a circle.
- oripara (オリパラ)
- An original (unofficial) para routine, usually created by an individual.
- sabi (サビ)

- yatou (野党)
